Westport by the Sea – Rules & Regulations Parking All vehicles must display a valid parking pass. Guests must display a temporary parking permit provided at check-in. Any vehicle without a valid pass is subject to towing at owner’s expense. Vehicles must not extend over the sidewalk. No storage of trailers, oversized/inoperable vehicles, or similar items on the property. Limit: 2 cars in parking lot; park only in unmarked spots. Balconies & Decks No items may be hung over the deck railing. Quiet Hours 10:00 PM – 9:00 AM. Prohibited Activities No kite flying on the property. No open flames, heaters, or propane on patios/decks. (Electric barbecues allowed) No non-emergency vehicle repairs in parking lots. No access to fenced dune areas, including crossing or cutting through fencing. Smoking Policy Smoking includes cigarettes, vaporizers, cigars, pipes, or any similar product, whether containing tobacco, marijuana, or other substances. Smoking of illegal substances is prohibited everywhere on the property. No smoking within 25 feet of any building, patio, window, door, or unit. Trash & Recycling Place all trash in dumpsters provided. Flatten boxes before placing in dumpsters. No trash left outside dumpsters. If full, take to next available dumpster. No disposal of mattresses, tires, or other large items. No trash storage on walkways, patios, or balconies. Children Parents are responsible for their children’s conduct and safety. Children must be supervised in the playground, clubhouse, pool area, and fitness room. Amenities Access Guests must present an active fob key to access pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Lost fob fee: $150. Pool & Spa Rules Closed daily for maintenance: 12:30–1:00 PM and 4:00–4:30 PM. Do not open gate for others – fob required. Children under 17 must be supervised by a responsible adult. No glass, food, or pets allowed. Shower before entering pool/spa. Do not use if you have a transmissible waterborne illness, diarrhea, or vomiting in the past 2 weeks. Diapers must be changed in designated areas with protective coverings. People with seizure, heart, or circulatory issues should not swim alone. No running, rough play, small toys, or pool noodles. No alcohol/drug influence while using pool/spa. Violating rules may result in removal from premises. Emergency: Call 911. Emergency phone & first-aid kit: Clubhouse wall. Children under 6 should not use the spa. Spa use: max 15 minutes per session, max 8 people. Per Rules We welcome well-behaved dogs only. By bringing a dog onto the property, guests agree to the following rules: * Dogs only. No cats or other animals. * Maximum of 1 dogs, unless approved by the host in writing before check-in. * Pets must be included in the reservation and any applicable pet fee must be paid before check-in. * No pets on beds, sofas, chairs, or other furniture. * Dogs must never be left unattended inside the home unless safely crated. * Dogs must be house-trained, non-aggressive, and under the guest’s control at all times. * Guests must pick up all pet waste immediately, including waste in the yard. * Please wipe muddy or wet paws before allowing dogs inside. * Do not use the home’s towels, blankets, sheets, or other linens on pets. Please bring your own pet towels and bedding. * Excessive barking or other disturbances are not permitted. * Guests are responsible for all pet-related damage and excessive cleaning costs, including damage to furniture, floors, doors, landscaping, bedding, or other property. * Excessive pet hair, urine, feces, stains, odors, or evidence of pets on furniture may result in additional cleaning charges, to the extent permitted by Airbnb. * Guests must follow all applicable laws and Airbnb policies regarding service animals and assistance animals.
